Escadaria Selarón steps in Rio de Janeiro — **The Escadaria Selarón connects Santa Teresa to Lapa.** The 215 colourful steps are covered with more than 2,000 tiles from different origins, including pieces donated from over 60 countries. During the day, it is usually very crowded with tourists.

Feijoada in Brazil — **Feijoada is often considered Brazil’s national dish.** It is a rich black bean stew made with different cuts of pork and beef, usually served with traditional accompaniments. It is a very heavy dish.

Açaí served as frozen pulp in Brazil — **Açaí is native to the Amazon rainforest.** Here it is served as frozen pulp, almost like a sorbet. Although it is now known globally as a “superfood”, it has long been part of Amazonian food culture.

Coxinha Brazilian snack — **Coxinha is one of Brazil’s most loved savoury snacks.** Its name means “little thigh”, referring to its teardrop shape, which resembles a chicken drumstick. It is common in bakeries, street stalls, and parties.
